Working with students has been the best experience of my life. My first experience was when paramedic students were assigned
to my advanced life support ambulance. The problem was, no one ever showed me what to do with them to enhance their
experience.
My name is Shara and I teach the paramedic program at Edison College. I also still work on an ambulance part time
in Hendry County because this way my students can see me teach in the classroom and come ride with me on the ambulance to
see me work as a paramedic. I want this website to be a place for other paramedics who work with students to come and
take away mentoring tips to use on the students that they come into contact with.
